Card Holder Program Check writers apply for a ChekXcept Card, pay to be a member and must maintain all thier contact information current. This makes collecting your bad check easier and faster than any of our competitors.
Certified Letters & Phone Calls We handle all the necessary telephone communication and documentation to allow quick efficient collection results.
Monthly Statements Monthly statements allow you to see the current state of all your checks in collection.
Electronic Collection We first try to collect on checks electronically before handing them off to our Hard Money collections department. This results in an 89% to 91% collection rate. Our merchant client receives 100% of the face value of all NSF checks collected this way.
Hard Money Collection If a check is still unpaid after 60 days of attempted electronic collections it moves to our traditional collections department. We have an excellent skip tracing department and a full staff of telephone collectors and administrative support.
Payment Plans We will set up payment plans and collect monthly payments. You will receive a monthly statement showing all your paid in full and partial payment accounts.
Skip Tracing We can search records for weapons permits, voter registration, drivers licenses, and more if necessary. We look for court records, business ownership, previous and current addresses, relatives, neighbors and criminal records.
Finding Assets We have the ability and experience to search for and find hidden assets.
Turn Key Solution ChekXcept offers a complete and comprehensive solution. Start to finish we handle all aspects of check collection allowing you to focus on your business. All unpaid checks are mailed directly from your bank to our processing center for collection.
Free Service There are no set-up fees, or monthly minimums. There are no fees on NSF checks collected electronically. On Hard Money collections you receive 75% of the face value of the check plus your qualified bank refund.
